Caim
Caim is the former prince of a small kingdom that was destroyed by dragons in the service of the Empire. He sacrificed his voice to enter a pact wiht the red dragon and thus espace death. Through desperate to save his sister, Furiae, Caim was hesitant to make a pact with the same kind of creature that killed his parents. Caim has been bitter by the brutality and hardship in his life. Although he claims to fight for his sister and to avenge his parent's death, in truth he battles to quell the rage inside him. |

Red Dragon
Dragons are acknowledged by other beasts to be lords of the natural world. Thus the dragon, though levelheaded, is arrogant and aloof, and believes that nothing can stand in her way. She disdains humans for their misguided belief that they can surpass dragons through technological advancements. Despsite these feelings, she is forced into a pact with Caim to save her life. |

Verdelet
The hierarch assigned to protect the goddess. Though without direct military command, he is a powerful and inflicential leader within the Union. However, when the situation becomes dire, his selfishness and sense of self-preservation come to the fore. |

Furiae
Growing up royalty and fiercely protected by Caim and Inuart, Furaie has lived a sheltered life. The only real hardship she has encountered is Inuart's instability. Nonetheless, their love is deep and tehy keeo each other in high spirits. But one day, her life is utterly changed. |

Leonard
Leonard has a peaceful heart, avoidign violence whenever possible, but he suffers terrible gulit over the death of his brothers. The Faerie forces Leonard into a part and does more harm than good, ridculing him for his weakness. |

Inuart
Son of an aristocract and childhood of Caim and Furiae, Inuart is known for his captivating singing voice and skill with the harp. He has grown up feeling inferior ro Caim, and to prove himself he often takes on duties he cannot handle. When overwhelmed, he is quick to panic and and soon becomes undependable. During these times, Inuart needs something to cling to, some way to regain his footing. His Fiance, Furiae is that support. Without her, Inuart would be completely lost. |

Arioch
Having los her husband and children to the Empire, Arioch has gone mad. She wanders the world aimlessly committing murder-and the worse-for the pure joy of it. Salamander and Undine are her pact-beasts. |

Seere
Adored by his mother he feels guilty about receiving all of her love at the expense of his sibling. Perhaps this is why he is able to endure even the most brutal treatment. Still very much a child, he refers to his pact-beast as "friend". |
