Before you even can attempt to gather Celestial Weapons for each character, you must obtian the Celesital Mirror (View Corresponding Section). When you obtain a legendary weapon, they each have no abilites. In actuality they are not so legendary. The only ability any legendary weapon possess is 'No AP.' When you gather all the neccessary items for the Celestial Weapons, you must return Macalania Woods and examine one of the white orbs there to complete the ritual and maximize the power of the weapons.

Caladbolg

Since Tidus's name comes from the roots of Sun, what a better way to prove his name then with a Sun Crest and Sigil. Be warned. Tidus's items will be the most annoying for you to obtain. The Sun Crest is obtained from a Chest In the Zanarkand Dome (Yunalesca Location). The Sun Sigil is obtained when you race the Chocobo Trainer, and finish with a time of 0:0. Which means you have to obtain all of the Red Balloons and hit the max of one bird. If you could, don't hit any birds at all. When you finish the race, go to the northwest portion of the Calm Lands, there a guard would have stood, now the guard will have moved allowing you to slip in the cracks. Once inside, you'll be able to allow Tidus to use the Celestial Mirror, to accquire Caladbolg.
Nirvana

Oh, isn't that nice, Yuna and Tidus are the opposite, Moon and Sun. Yuna's Celestial Weapon will require Two items, the Moon Crest and Moon Sigil. Remember when you first arrived in Besaid, with the water, and Tidus swiming to Wakka and Co.? The Moon Crest is adjacent to where you needed to land. On a small beach land part. The Moon Sigil can be obtained once you complete the Remiem Temple Side Quest, In which you need to defeat all the Aeons that Belgemine has. Which is all the Aeons you need to have, She will only have the Aeon if you have the Aeon in your arsenal. After gathering the Moon Crest and Sigil, you need to have captured all Nine Species of Monsters for the Calm Lands Arena. (All of the Monsters). Once you capture all of the Calm Lands Arena Monsters, the man will give you a Crest that can only be opened with the Celestial Mirror. The content is, of course the celestial weapon, the Nirvana.
Masamune

To accquire the celesital weapon of Auron, you need to first obtain the amplfiying items, the Mars Crest and Sigil. The Mars Crest is found on the Mi'ihen Highroad. The Mars Sigil is obtained once you capture 10 monsters of 10 different species in 10 different regions and return to the Monster Arena owner. Then to obtain the Masamune, you would first need the Rusty Sword, which is found in front of the Cavern Of Stolen Fayth. Then travel to Mushroom Rock and view Lord Mi'ihen's statue. Place and insert the Rusty Sword and a Glyph will appear. Examine and recieve the Masamune.
World Champion

Getting the amplfiying items first, the Jupiter Crest is found in the Auroch's Locker Room in Luca. The Jupiter Sigil is obtained by as one of the prizes in a Blitzball League Match, but it can only be offered if you get the Attack, Status and Auroch's Reels. To obtain Wakka's celestial weapon, you need to go to the Luca Cafe. Inside, the Bartender has the World Champion blitzball. You have to have played many matches of blitzball for the Bartender to give you the blitzball.
Godhand

Easily the easiest Celestial Weapon to accquire. Godhand's amplfiying items are the Mercury Crest and Sigil. The Mercury Chest is obtained in a sand whirlpool in Sanubia Desert. The Mercury Sigil is obtained from the Cactur Village Side-Quest. (Refer to the Cactur Village Side Quest Section). Godhand is obtained from the Airship. You need to enter the Code : "GODHAND." The secret location is in Mushroom Rock. You'll find a Glyph, then use the celestial mirror to reveal a chest containing Godhand.
Onion Knight

The Venus Crest can be obtained The Farplane of Guadosalam. The Venus Sigil Must evade the lightning bolts on the Thunder Plains 200 consecutive times without being hit. If You are hit once, the count restarts. (More Information In The Lightning Dogder Sidequest). Then to accquire the Onion Knight, you need to go to Baaj Temple. Dive into the water, and swim towards the doors to the north and fight Geosganeo. After defeating Geosganeo, search the southern portion of the circular underwater area and look for a chest containing the weapon. Remember to use the celestial mirror to unlcok the chest.
Spirit Lance

The Saturn Crest can be obtained at Mt. Gagazet after the fight with Seymour. The Saturn Sigil can be obtained from the Butterfly Catcher Sidequest (View Corresponding Section). To accquire the Spirit Lance, you need to activate three of the cactur stones in Thunder Plains. Once you activate three of the stones, search for the Cactur Ghost hovering over the Thunder Plains. Follow it to a small, ruined lightning tower on the right side. Press the square button to send a bolt of lightning to the tower, revealing a treasure chest holding the item. Then obviously use the celestial mirror to obtain the spirit lance.
