Magic

Magic in Crystal Chronicles has a much different control than the any other Final Fantasy title, the controls and mechanics are alot different. Since in Crystal Chronicles there are no leveling up or magic to be learned, there is only the use of 'Magic Orbs' called 'Magicite' that you can pick up in any stage area. There are only Six different basic magcitie, Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Cure, Clear and Life. The only way to create the other magic spells to use is by combining any two or three basic magic orb combinations. In Single player, all you have to do is combine them from the menu, but in Multiplayer mode, you need to when casting magic move the target crusor to overlap each other, and then cast it with perfect timing. Timing effects the damage and effectiveness of the fused magic.
